ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a set of rare vintage abstract / dimensional chalkware bookends designed for SCULPTURELINE. Circa '50s. Theme: Comedy / Tragedy / Theater / Guitar. Materials: Chalkware. Colors: Black with Gold and White accents. These bookends have a very dimensional appearance, and show great texture throughout. They are both signed ©Sculptureline on the back side towards the base (see photos).
MEASUREMENTS: Each bookend stands approx. 6.75" tall x 4.5" wide x 3.5" deep, and together they weigh approx. 5.72 lbs - they're nice and solid.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition. There is some light edge wear in spots, but nothing horrible. Looks like there are a few old, subtle touch-ups to the paint, but nothing glaring at all. There do no appear to be any chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, etc. Overall they display nicely for their age, and they function as intended.
