Vintage 1980s Maitland Smith tessellated stone dresser box, handcrafted in the Philippines.
The box features a striking geometric mosaic of individually fitted dark natural stone tiles with contrasting brass inlay accents. The stone veneer covers the exterior, while the interior is beautifully finished in rich wood. The removable lid has beveled edges and a matching tessellated stone design.
A classic example of Maitland Smith decorative design from the 1980s, combining natural stone, brass, and fine woodwork. An attractive piece for use as a dresser box, jewelry box, keepsake box, or decorative accent.

Very good vintage condition overall with normal age-related surface wear. There is a small chip/loss to the stone veneer at one lower corner, clearly shown in the photos. Please review all photographs carefully for condition and details.
