Vintage Mexican Papier Mache Folk Art Figures Set 3, Xalisco Jalisco For Sale

Wonderful set of three vintage Mexican folk-art figures, handcrafted in papier mâché with expressive hand-painted faces, traditional rural clothing and miniature pottery vessels. The group includes one mustached male figure and two elderly female village figures, each mounted on a wooden base. Largest figure measures approximately 15–16 inches tall. These display beautifully together and have wonderful primitive character and patina. Vintage condition with age-related wear, discoloration, fraying, tears and losses to the paper clothing as shown.
