The reverse of one frame is stamped “F C ENTERPRISES.”
Moran Cadillac, also known as Ronald Moran Cadillac, was a longtime Southern California Cadillac dealership located at 18600 Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance. The dealership has an interesting connection to automotive movie history: the location was used during the famous chase sequence in the original 1974 Gone in 60 Seconds, during which vehicles at Ronald Moran’s Cadillac dealership were damaged as part of the filming.
Moran Cadillac remained in operation for decades. In January 2004, UnitedAuto Group acquired the Torrance dealership and announced that it would be renamed Penske Cadillac South Bay, ending the Moran Cadillac name at the location.
Based on the style and known history of these dealer frames, they appear to be from approximately the 1970s–1980s era, although an exact production date has not been confirmed.
Selling as a matching pair, ideal for a period Cadillac, Southern California dealership memorabilia collection, or vintage automobilia display.
