This is a beautiful vintage Japanese display doll produced by NARCO Japan, a well-known mid-20th-century exporter of traditional Japanese dolls. These dolls were created during the Showa era (circa 1950s–1970s) and were intended for decorative display rather than play.
The doll features a serene, hand-finished composition face with softly painted features and straight black hair styled with bangs. She is dressed in a vibrant red kimono with subtle woven patterning, accented by a pale pink obi tied at the front. The craftsmanship and proportions are classic of Japanese export dolls from this period.
The base is marked NARCO, confirming the maker. The doll is mounted on a display stand and presents beautifully.
