Beautiful coordinated collection of vintage Nan’s corn husk dolls, folk art figures and harvest décor, with dated pieces from 1988 through 1991. Each figure carries the Nan’s maker mark with its copyright date (a Nan’s tag under the skirt or a Nan’s stamp on the wood base). These are Nan’s-marked, not artist-signed.
The collection features three detailed corn husk women/mothers in warm autumn colors, plus a baby in a small wooden wagon. A fabric pumpkin and a fall floral arrangement in a metal pail are included as display props. Together they make a charming harvest scene for Thanksgiving and autumn decorating.
The natural corn husk construction, layered clothing and handmade details give the figures a traditional country, primitive and farmhouse folk-art look.
