Vintage mid-century "United Nations Building" framed print by Newhouse. A striking tall view of the UN Secretariat tower in New York City, done in a loose dry-brush watercolor and ink style, with seagulls overhead and a lively 1950s street scene below with streetcars, cars, flags, and pedestrians. Signed "Newhouse" and titled in the print.
Newhouse's NYC landmark prints were sold framed as decor in the 1950s–60s. A great piece for mid-century modern, architecture, or New York collectors.
