Vintage Nishi & Co. Ltd. Yaegakihime Japanese princess display doll, Made in Japan. This traditional doll depicts Princess Yaegakihime from the old Samurai era presenting a helmet to her husband before he leaves for battle, as described on the original base label. Approximately 15" tall on a black display base. Features an elaborate orange, red, cream and metallic brocade kimono, styled black hair, decorative headpiece and detailed Samurai helmet with hanging orange tassels. Original Nishi Doll label remains underneath the base.
Preowned vintage condition with age-related wear. There is noticeable damage/repair to the nose, along with facial marks, loose/flyaway hair and wear to the original paper label, all shown in the photos. Please review all pictures carefully for exact condition.
