Condition Report:
This 70+ year old piece of authentic tobacciana advertising is in fair to good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and store display use. Please review the high-resolution photos carefully to evaluate the condition details:
• The Neck & Base: Crucially, Johnny's neck is structurally sound and completely intact. It has avoided the severe horizontal creasing or breaks that plague most surviving specimens of this top-heavy sign. The lithographed colors on the red jacket and yellow base remain bold and clear.
• Flaws/Wear: There is visible paper/lithography loss along the top edge of Johnny's black cap. The back features vintage transparent tape reinforcement stabilizing the arm/hand areas, alongside a small puncture hole near the rear shoulder/arm junction. The original cardboard easel backing is present.
