For sale is a genuine, original vintage paper fruit crate label for \"Placerville Maid\" brand Mountain Bartletts pears. This authentic piece of California agricultural history was produced for the Placerville Fruit Growers Association based in El Dorado County, California. Features a beautiful, vibrant illustration of a young girl holding a ripe yellow pear. Includes the iconic \"Blue Anchor\" logo of the California Fruit Exchange in the upper left corner. Bold, classic mid-century typography and lithograph styling. Measures 11\" x 8-1/2\" (pear box end size). This is a guaranteed original, authentic paper cardboard label - not a reproduction or digital reprint. This is from my personal collection. I had it displayed in my country vintage style kitchen (unframed) amongst old kitchen tins and primitive utensils. Displayed nicely!
CONDITION: Good vintage condition! This is NOT a reproduction and is a crate label that was removed. It is covered with a plastic type covering and affixed to a cardboard backing. I am assuming this came directly off the original pear crate. The colors are still crisp and bright for its age and use! There is edge/corner wear as expected with authentic ephemera of this age, adding to its historic charm. Still displays beautifully and can easily be framed for a nice vintage display in a rustic or vintage kitchen! PLEASE see all photos for additional details before purchasing. Thanks
