Vintage Ray O Vac Sportsman 6D Cell S357F Flashlight For Sale

This listing is for a Vintage Ray-O-Vac Sportsman S357F 6D Cell Flashlight. I have cleaned and tested this unit and it is in good working order (See photos). Originally this model had an extra 1D Cell Battery extension that had to be removed due to dirt/corrosion so it now only takes 6 batteries instead of 7. I have not been able to find just that one piece extension available for purchase anywhere but it is still able to use one if you find one. It is a modular setup in that you could run this flashlight with just 1 tube of 3 D-Cell batteries plus the tailcap or both tubes to make 6 Cells. The tailcap is non-original as I needed to replace that as well from a neighboring Ray-O-Vac I used for parts but it works great and has a spot to clip on the included shoulder strap. The bulb is original and works. To remove the bulb on this model you need to push the plastic lens down with your fingers and pull out the metal zig zag piece that goes around the front. Underneath you can unscrew the bulb from the back of the reflector and there's also a spot inside the housing to clip in an extra bulb if needed. This flashlight is super floody and can throw light to the left, right and almost behind the user. Really great to light up a room. No more cardboard tubes! I'm also including a couple 3-D Cell battery sleeves I had designed and 3D printed myself as I have found a lot of vintage flashlights have wide body tubing and it's common to find them full of old paper towel cardboard tubes to hold batteries more in line with each other to prevent flickering. These will help keep your batteries nice and clean from any remaining oil inside the flashlight and they won't rattle around as much. Please message me for any other questions. Thanks!
