Here we have a Vintage Robert Sorby spindle roughing gouge, 21" overall length, about 7/8" across the blade.
That is the original handle - this originally had a heavy orange lacquer on the handle, which I stripped off long ago, and oiled with linseed oil - a much better grip and feel.
This is NOT HSS - this is the old carbon steel. HSS lathe tools came into production a few years after this was produced.
Logo is present on the chisel, although it is difficult to read.
Fairly sharp and easily sharpened. The edge is not chipped or abused, so a quick grind will bring this up - or you can use a diamond hone to bring this up to sharpness.
No pitting or damage to the blade - ready to go with minimal sharpening.
Will be shipped disassembled, as shown in most of the photos.
