Beautiful vintage-style Russian matryoshka nesting doll set featuring six graduated wooden dolls with detailed architectural artwork, hand-painted accents, gold decoration and intricate wood-burning/pyrography.
The dolls feature Russian/Moscow-inspired architectural scenes with distinctive onion-dome churches, while the backs are decorated with large floral motifs. The gold-painted head coverings and trim add a beautiful decorative touch.
The underside of the largest doll has a handwritten marking/signature and the number “5,” which is shown clearly in the photographs.
