Vintage early 20th century French Samson style hand painted library desk table lamps. Graced with the coat of arms on one side. Floral arrangements on the opposite side against a pink lattice scale pattern with cartouches above and below. Rams heads are on opposite sides. Mounted atop 4 gilt brass feet. The lamps have an on/off rotary switch at the base. Sockets are for medium base bulbs. Shades not included.
NOTE: There are some imperfections as follows: 1) A chip in the gold trim on the top edge one of the lamps and a smaller chip on the other.2) A small crack in the front of one lamp. 3) On one of the lamps the stem that supports the sockets has a crack along the length of the stem.4) There is a small crack on the inside top of both lamps.5) There are cracks in the metal band that go around the lamp where the switch and cord are located. There are 4 vertical cracks on one lamp and 3 cracks on the other. See photos.
Dimensions: 24\" H. to the top of the stem above the sockets. The top of the lamps are 7\" Dia.The porcelain part of the lamp is 9\" H.The height from the bottom of the feet to the top of the porcelain body is 12 1/4\".The width from ram\'s head to ram\'s head is 7 1/2\".Weight: 8 lbs. each
