Up for sale is an AntiqueVintage Scioto Commandery Knights Templar Ceremonial Frock Coat Masonic Uniform. This coat has the traditional double-breasted black military-style design, featuring a high stand collar, shoulder bullion epaulettes, and specialized embroidered bullion patch cross insignia denoting rank or commandery affiliation. The coat is made by Petzke Bros (Cleveland, OH). The coat is in good overall condition. It does show wear in places, there is at least one pin hole (see pic) and one of the epaulettes needs to be restitched on one end. The inside of the arms is a striped cotton fabric. The length from the top of the shoulder to the bottom is 37\", sleeve length is 27\" and flat armpit to armpit length is 18\". It needs a good professional cleaning.

Petzke Bros (Petzke Brothers) was a historic merchant tailoring firm established in Cleveland, Ohio, during the late 19th century. The business originated from a tailoring partnership formed in 1879 between Gustav Stern and his brother-in-law, master tailor Otto Petzke, called Petzke & Stern. In 1887, Otto\'s brother, Albert Petzke, joined the firm, prompting a name change to Petzke, Stern & Co.. They operated out of prominent Cleveland addresses, including St. Clair Avenue and Euclid Avenue. Around 1891, Gustav Stern departed from the business.
