Vintage Stylebuilt Jade Art Glass Gilt Ormolu-Style Jewelry Box
Beautiful mid-century Stylebuilt jewelry or trinket box featuring translucent green molded art glass panels set within an ornate gilt or gold-plated metal framework. The box has a hinged beveled mirrored lid, decorative feet, and a gold-colored fabric-lined interior.
The elaborate scrollwork, rich green panels, and aged gold finish give it a distinctive Hollywood Regency or Rococo Revival appearance. It is marked STYLEBUILT on the underside.
The green panels are commonly described on matching examples as jade art glass. They are not represented here as natural jade or jadeite. The metal is described as gilt or gold-plated base metal rather than solid brass.
