Vintage TOSHIBA MODEL 8TM 41 8 TRANSISTOR RADIO w/ leather case, nice Works For Sale

The Vintage TOSHIBA MODEL 8TM 41 8 TRANSISTOR RADIO is a collectible piece from Japan that exudes retro charm. This very nice radio comes from a non-smoking home. The black and grey plastic case and the original matching tan leather case are in very good condition. The plastic case has one small crack along the top of the back of the radio (shown in photo). The dial has one small mark on the inside (shown in photo). The leather on the leather case is soft and very supple. There is a tear at one of the snaps and the strap shows wear (all shown in photos).
The battery compartment is clean and corrosion free (shown in photos) and the component area is clean and dust free. The radio powers up, has strong audio and the high / low tone switch functions correctly. The radio will be shipped WITHOUT batteries.
