This is a vintage Toshiba TT-504 Japanese military-style portable field telephone, housed in a brown leather carrying case.
It features a rotary dial, a separate handset with an internal push switch, a hand-operated crank and an approximately 130 cm (51.2 in) connecting cord. The crank turns manually; however, this only confirms its physical movement and does not guarantee that the internal generator works.
This distinctive piece is ideal for collectors of vintage Japanese military-style communications equipment, field telephones and industrial technology. It may also be suitable for museum-style display, interior decoration, restoration projects, theatrical productions or film props.

This is an old vintage item with substantial age-related wear.
The leather carrying case has tears, holes, cracks, stains, deformation, worn stitching and other deterioration. The telephone, handset and metal components also have scratches, dirt, discoloration, oxidation and general wear from age and storage.
The crank turns, but the telephone and electrical functions have not been confirmed. The item cannot currently be used as a working telephone and is sold strictly as non-working, for parts or repair.
