The F39 was one of Western’s original Black Beauty hunting knife patterns. The Black Beauty line dates back to the 1960s, and collector references identify the F39 as one of the models featuring the distinctive notched thumb rest.

Condition:
This is a well-used vintage knife and is being sold in its present condition. The blade has visible oxidation/patina, scratches and surface wear consistent with age and use. There is also wear to the handle, guard and other metal surfaces. Please examine all photographs carefully, as the photos are an important part of the condition description.

The original Western markings and F39 model stamp are clearly visible in the photographs.
