Title Title: Vintage Whimsical Chubby Cat Figurines - Comical Set of 3
Description:
Up for sale is an incredibly charming and quirky lot of three vintage fat cat figurines. This delightful trio is full of personality, each crafted with a round, plump body, oversized bulging white eyes, painted black pupils, thin black whiskers, and cheeky toothy smiles showcasing prominent front buck teeth.
The collection includes three distinct and comical poses:
1. The Roller: A brown and tan striped tabby happily rolling on its back with paws up.
2. The Waver: A grey and brown tabby sitting upright with one paw raised in a cheerful wave.
3. The Croucher: An orange tabby featuring bold, hand-painted black tiger stripes in a low, resting pose.
These pieces are crafted from a heavy, solid resin/molded composition material with a rustic, stone-like texture and matching unglazed bases. They look absolutely fantastic displayed together on a shelf or desk!
Condition Details:
Good vintage condition with beautiful aging. All three display minor surface wear, light scuffs, and organic markings on their unglazed bases consistent with age and previous display. No structural cracks, large chips, or major damage. Their original whiskers are intact. Please see all photos to evaluate close-up details.
These funny, chunky cats make a stellar conversation piece for a tiered tray display, windowsill, desk, or as a gift for a dedicated primitive folk art collector.
