This is an original photographic print on Kodak photographic paper, with the repeating Kodak paper watermark visible on the reverse. Based on the locomotive model and photographic paper, the print dates to circa 1949–1953.
The Baldwin DR-12-8-1500/2 "Centipede" was among the most distinctive diesel locomotives ever built and remains a favorite among railroad historians and collectors.
