Vintage Memphis “Naturecht” Austrian Cigarette Pack – Empty – Old Design – Circa Late 1960s
Original vintage Memphis Filter Cigaretten Naturecht cigarette package produced by Austria Tabak Werke.
This is the older Austrian Memphis design featuring the large burgundy MEMPHIS lettering, ornate crest, cream background, and German-language advertising.
The package reads:
FILTER CIGARETTEN
NATURECHT
IM RAUCH NIKOTINARM
The side panels are marked Austria Tabak Werke and include German and English advertising text.
Collector references identify this Filter Cigaretten / Naturecht configuration as an older Memphis Austrian variant, and period Memphis Naturecht advertising is documented from 1969. For that reason, this package is believed to date approximately to the late 1960s era, although no exact production date is printed on the package.
