Vntg c1942 Victory Home Front Atlas Shoe Shine Kit, Atlas Tin, Box Case Brush + For Sale

This is a Atlas Shoe Shine Kit that was to be mailed to a man in the Armed Forces during WWII. The people at home were there to help our fighting men achieve Victory. We start with a cardboard box that was the mailing box, which had Victory on the front and an illustration of 2 smiling saluting army and navy men. The box measures 7" x 6 1/2" x 1 1/2". Inside the box is a canvas pouch/purse bag with a front button closure that held the shoe shine kit. Inside the bag was a white polishing cloth; a wood handle polishing brush; a tin container for brown Atlas Shoe Polish (very collectible by itself and in mint condition) and a tag identifying the item as a Atlas Shoe Shine Kit and directions. The shine kit has never been used, although the polish in the tin is present but dehydrated. The bag and its contents are in new condition. The cardboadrd box has no creases breaks or tears but is not new (please see my photos). From a pet free and smoke free home-none of these items has an odor. Only item like this on .
