This is a very collectible vintage child\'s play costume from the 1950\'s. It is a Majorette costume by Yankiboy Play Clothes. It was originally purchased from Gimbels Dept. Store which went out of business in the 1980\'s.
The original box is here along with all the accoutrements of the costume to include plastic majorette shoe coverings with tassels, hat, belt, and wooden baton covered in glitter.
The costume itself has snaps in the back and is a light lavender color with deep yellow and red accents. Amazing everything is here! There are also 2 masks included, I don\'t think they go with the costume but they will be included. One does not have the elastic band.
In good condition considering its age! The box has obvious wear and tear as seen. It is the original box to the costume however. The costume itself has some color fade, light staining and a bit of a musty odor.
