Up for sale is a stunning, highly collectible pair of Mid-Century Modern anthropomorphic
smiling apple salt and pepper shakers. This authentic 1950s set was manufactured by the
renowned PY (Miyao Toki) company in Japan.
What makes this particular set incredibly rare for collectors is that it retains all three
major markers of production, export, and distribution:
1. The official "PY" underglaze factory stamp on the bottom.
2. The green "Nippon Yoko Boeki" (NYB) three-leaf clover export emblem on the bottom.
3. BOTH original silver/gold foil "Coronet Hand Painted Japan" distributor labels completely intact on the backs.

- Excellent vintage condition with vibrant cold paint and exceptionally shiny glaze.
- No cracks, major chips, or repairs.
- Very minimal age-appropriate glaze crazing upon close inspection.
