This is a original vintage 1961 sales package for Coons Custom Coach Mfg. Co. (Oswego, Kansas & Pomona, California), advertising "Dreamer" slide in bed truck campers.
The set includes:1. Typed Cover Letter: Dated April 6, 1961, signed by company founder Bud Coons.
2. Original Metered Mailing Envelope: Postmarked Oswego, Kans., April 5, 1961, addressed to Greenbrier, Tennessee.
3. Dreamer Price List: Printed single-sheet insert for standard models and optional equipment.
4. Flyer: Single-sheet flyer for the "Quickie" Portable Coach Lift manufactured by McCulley-Cook Mfg. Co.
5. Sales Brochure / Catalog: Multi-page fold-out color brochure introducing "Dreamer" coach models (The Weekender Compact, The Royal Dreamer, The Waterfall, The Hunter-Fisherman).
The promotional materials feature several American pickup trucks from the 1958–1961 model years, primarily used to demonstrate how the "Dreamer" slide-in camper fits different makes, bed configurations, and paint setups:1961 Ford F-100 / F-250 Styleside (Red): Prominently depicted on the main front cover of the yellow-and-green brochure carrying a white camper shell.1958–1959 Chevrolet Apache / Task Force Truck (Blue): Featured inside the fold-out brochure (top left) carrying "The Weekender Compact" camper. Condition Assessment: Overall Rating: Excellent / Very Fine (vintagewise)Details: Paper exhibits minimal toning or yellowing for its age. Minor horizontal fold creases from original mailing are present on the letter and brochures, but there are no major tears, heavy stains, ink bleeding, or tape repairs. The envelope shows slight edge wear typical of opened vintage mail. Colors on the brochure remain bright and crisp.
