Up for sale is a highly collectible and exceptionally rare Vintage 1962 Revlon "Les Mannequins" (often cross-referenced with the Couturines series) Figural Doll Lipstick Case.
This mid-century novelty cosmetic piece features a beautifully painted, porcelain-like mannequin head acting as the removable top cap. The body is elegantly styled in early-1960s high fashion, wrapped in rich orange velvet, decorative floral ribbon trim, and finished with a gold-tone metallic filigree band.
Unlike most examples found today, this piece includes its original, intact inner brass-tone mechanism containing an unused vibrant red lipstick bullet. The brass sleeve still clearly displays its original "DO NOT TWIST" lettering.
