Today I am offering this fabulous matching pair of authentic vintage 1976 Michigan Bicentennial license plates. Both plates feature the registration number XNY126.
These original plates were issued to celebrate the United States Bicentennial and feature the iconic red, white, and blue American flag theme with wavy stripes, stars, and the stylized 76 graphic logo in the corner.
This historic design won the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association (ALPCA) Plate of the Year award.
The plates are in excellent vintage condition with absolutely no wear. They look completely unused, featuring bright painted surfaces, crisp white embossed lettering, and clean bolt holes free of rust or mounting marks.
They have extremely slight manufacturing flaws. But they are basically insignificant and barely worth mentioning.
