Up for sale/sale is a beautiful and highly collectible vintage mid-century religious accent nightlight. This unique piece features a fully functional, authentic vintage Aerolux neon glow bulb containing a detailed metal rose filament. When turned on, the rose petals fluoresce a striking neon pink/orange-red while the leaves display a vibrant green phosphor glow. The bulb burns steadily with no flickering and has excellent glass clarity with minimal internal aging.
Key Features & Details:
• The Bulb: Original Aerolux gas-discharge figural flower bulb (Rose & Bud design). Excellent phosphor condition.
• The Figurine: Classic 5-inch Italian-made "Infant Jesus of Prague" statuette with intricate hand-painted accents mimicking an antique European wood carving.
• The Base: Genuine heavy sand-cast solid brass footed filigree base featuring a decorative faux-pearl border rim. Completely non-magnetic with a gorgeous, undisturbed dark natural vintage patina.
• Dimensions: Stands beautifully proportioned at approximately 7.25 inches tall from the feet to the top of the glass dome.
Condition Notes:
This piece is in excellent, working vintage condition. The cord and socket are intact and the unit lights up instantly. No major chips or cracks to the figurine. Brass base displays fantastic historic tarnish in the grooves—we have left it unpolished to preserve its antique value.
Collector's Care Tip: To maximize the lifespan of the rare green phosphors on the leaves, it is recommended to operate this bulb as a periodic accent piece rather than a continuous 24/7 nightlight.
Shipments are packed with extreme care, heavily bubbled, and double-boxed to ensure the fragile vintage bulb arrives safely. Please review the photos for exact cosmetic condition. Don't miss out on this rare, complete crossover collectible!
