Beautiful vintage handmade cross-stitch Christmas stocking set personalized for Grandma and Grandpa. These stockings feature detailed traditional Christmas scenes along with Christian/Biblical themes.
The designs include angels, stars, Santa’s sleigh filled with toys, reindeer, poinsettias, candles, bells, and snowflakes. Each stocking has decorative white and red trim along the top.
The Grandma stocking features the verse:
“When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy…” – Matt. 2:10
The Grandpa stocking features:
“And, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them…” – Matt. 5:14
The Grandpa stocking is stitched with “1985,” dating the set to the mid-1980s.
These appear to be lovingly handmade and would make a wonderful addition to a vintage Christmas collection, traditional holiday display, or family heirloom décor.
Although preowned these stockings are in excellent condition, considering their age. Please note a couple of markings on the back of the stocking, which can be seen in the pictures provided.
