Vintage original sepia-tone gelatin-silver snapshot photograph with age-related handling and storage wear. Verso displays general discoloration, light soiling and smudge marks including a circular darker area, a short central surface crease, and a handwritten pencil inscription \"uncle Charles\" with a small penciled number near one corner, and the photo is offered as a single loose unmounted and unframed print with no mats, frames, or additional accessories included.
Original vintage early 1900s sepia-tone gelatin-silver snapshot photograph depicting a man standing outdoors beside a large tree with a small dog sitting in the grass at his feet.
The man wears round spectacles, a brimmed hat, white shirt with patterned necktie, dark buttoned waistcoat, and matching trousers, and he leans casually against the tree trunk holding a small object in his hand while the bare branches and open landscape behind him create a quiet rural setting.
The image is printed as a vertically oriented sepia snapshot on glossy single-weight photo paper with a narrow white border around the picture area, showing soft contrast and surface sheen typical of early 20th-century vernacular outdoor people photography.
The reverse side of the photograph is plain photo paper displaying a handwritten pencil inscription reading \"uncle Charles\" near the top edge along with a small penciled number at one corner, and the print is an original unmounted and unframed piece suitable for collections focused on men with dogs, rural life, and documentary early 1900s social history images.
