Ellen H. Clapsaddle was an American artist whose paintings and rhyming verse appeared onpostcards and greeting cards in the early 1900s. She was especially knownfor her illustrations of festive Halloween imagery. Due to their fragilenature, well-preserved examples of Clapsaddle postcards are rare.
