Vintage LIMOGES France WHITE CAT IN BURGUNDY BOOT Porcelain Hinged Lid TRINKET BOX

Size 2.75\" high x 3\" long x 1.25\" wide

Features white porcelain with a high-shine glaze and a meticulously hand painted coloration.

This is a RARE COLOR for the \'cat in a boot\' trinket box. Some that I\'ve seen look quite cartoonish and are in very bright colors- this one is not.

This cat is white with orange ears and paws, and he\'s sitting inside of a burgundy and dark grey boot with a black lining. The hand applied brush strokes on the boot are lovely.

Closure on the box is an embossed metal gold toned band with a hinge in back and a beautiful ornate DIMENSIONAL MOUSE clasp in front- charming and clever
