Beautiful vintage Maxant marine barograph (barometric pressure recorder) housed in a wood and glass case with brass hardware. Includes internal winding key. Cosmetic condition is very nice, with no obvious damage noted to the case or glass. Some corrosion on brass handle. One small Knick at bottom of wood. Mechanism winds and the chart drum has proper controlled resistance. Long-term operation and recording accuracy have not been verified, so item is being sold as untested. A handsome nautical instrument for collectors, office décor, or marine enthusiasts.
