This vintage Murano art glass Barovier and Toso perfume bottle / decanter with original matching stopper is a breathtaking example of mid-century Venetian master glassmaking. This hand-blown Murano glass perfume bottle features an elegant, heavily ribbed melon shape displaying a magnificent combination of classic Italian techniques. The inner layers are heavily infused with shimmering 24k gold leaf flakes/dust, catching the light beautifully against a rich ruby red glass core. Perfectly executed controlled air bubbles trapped meticulously within the glass walls. Includes its rare, original matching clear glass stopper. Regarding the stickers on the bottom: Balboa was an American import company that brought authentic Murano glass to the U.S. during the 1970s. The other sticker shows the model number of the piece. Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or deep scratches. Measures 9" tall x 3 3/4" wide.
