Up for sale is a beautiful vintage 2-piece meat carving knife and fork set from the prestigious Rosenthal Studio Line. Designed by the renowned Danish artist Bjørn Wiinblad during the 1970s, this set features the iconic and highly collectible "Siena" pattern.
The handles are crafted from fine porcelain/ceramic, beautifully hand-painted in a rich cobalt blue and crisp white glaze. Each handle is sculpted into Wiinblad's signature, whimsical stylized figurehead design. The functional ends are made of high-grade German stainless steel ("Rostfrei").
Measurements:
- Knife: Just under 13 inches (approx. 32 cm) total length.
- Fork: Matching standard size companion piece.
Condition:
This vintage set is in beautiful pre-owned condition with excellent gloss and vibrant color on the handles. The stainless steel blades are bright and clean.
