Vtg Stan Langtwait Shapes of Clay Plaque Native American Couple Wolves Eagle For Sale

Up for sale is a gorgeous, vintage 2-piece "Shapes of Clay" collectible art plaque set handcrafted by Pacific Northwest artist Stan Langtwait. This distinctive textured pottery set was uniquely sculpted using authentic volcanic ash recovered from the historic May 18, 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens in Washington State, mixed directly into native clay. The bas-relief round plaque features a highly detailed, intimate carving depicting an Indigenous Native American couple embracing with two resting wolves lying at their feet—a design often symbolizing love, partnership, and unity in both the animal kingdom and human spirit. The plaque measures approximately 7 inches in diameter. The set includes its original, matching sculpted tabletop base featuring an embossed bald eagle spreading its wings over a rock formation. The back of the plaque shows the signature organic, unglazed texture characteristic of Langtwait's work. Condition:
