This heavy, thick-walled diner-style mug was manufactured in the USA by the legendary Victor Insulators company, built ruggedly to withstand life aboard military ships. It features excellent provenance, having been custom-decorated by the famous, long-closed Bill's Mug Shop in Jacksonville, Florida, which was operated by retired Navy Senior Chief William Lahnen. The front displays the vibrant, multi-colored official crest of the Navy Operational Intelligence Center (OPINTEL). The reverse side is personalized to "Bob D'Imperio" and features the highly sought-after "Spook" graphic—the traditional cloaked agent and anchor mascot representing the US Naval Security Group and Cryptologic/Communications Technicians (CT). The mug is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or heavy staining, and the graphics remain crisp and beautifully preserved.
