Identifying Marks:
Lid: Beautifully raised "VOLLRATH WARE U.S.A." block lettering on the underside, inner self-basting drip rings, recessed center loop handle, and flared ear tabs.
Skillet: Incised "8" on the top of the handle, iconic pointed teardrop hanging hole, dual pour spouts, helper tab, and an unbroken inset heat ring with a small stamped "8" on the base.

Our Restoration Process: This set was stripped safely down to bare metal using a lye bath and a washing soda electrolysis tank, ensuring all vintage buildup was removed without damaging the historic iron. It was then fully re-seasoned using our custom in-house cast iron balm—a specialized blend of grapeseed oil, sunflower oil, and beeswax—and heat-cured at 425°F through multiple cycles to build a durable, non-stick, polymerized foundation.
