This beautiful vintage set features 6 authentic Old World Christmas purple mercury glass teardrop ornaments crafted in West Germany, complete with their original mid-century retail box and internal divider grid. The set is structurally complete with no cracked or broken glass bulbs, and all original stamped metal hanging caps remain securely attached. True to their age, the vibrant fuchsia/purple lacquer finish displays a natural, uniform spiderweb-like surface crazing pattern, with one bulb showing a coin-sized patch of paint loss exposing the inner silvering (as photographed) and others displaying minor pinprick wear and lower tip scuffing from decades of storage. Remarkably, the original clear cellophane window film remains fully present and intact across the front cutout, protecting the interior, while the colorful cardboard outer box remains structurally sound with only minor edge wear and two small stress creases along the lower window frame lip.
