Hello, I’m looking to sell my WW2 509TH PIR paratrooper helmet. This is a restoration piece that has been carefully done to match what a 509th PIR would look like. This restoration contains the iconic jumping man, and camouflage.
With the photos you can see the camouflage has maintained its look, subtle aging to both the chin strap, and also the jump man itself (painted orange on side).
The liner, I am not sure where or when it originates from. From my understanding it might be from the Korean War. If you need to validate this or want proof I can try my best to supply photos to reassure you.
As for the helmet itself, it’s genuine and is from the Second World War. But once more the paint job and a work of restoration.
I am selling as I am looking to advance my collection to other military items. This helmet was well taken care in a NON smoking home.
Thanks for looking and please reach out if you have any questions!
