This signed with stamped makers marks Western Flair Hand Tooled Belt Buckle is a 2.875 inch German silver with yellow brass with cowboy ranch country southwestern design elements with fine diamond cut details. The artisan invested considerable time, energy, and skill into creating multiple layers of metal that represent historic possibly cattle chaps or other ranch life farming elements that drovers and cowboys are accustomed to. The detailed hand tooling and rich materials resemble or pay homage to JO Bass style metalwork we have examined on spurs we owned. We purposely left this buckle in patinated uncleaned condition as it helps date and authenticate this is a vintage USA made item, it does have moderate use wear and some pinpoint oxidation that can easily be removed if desired, the hinge can accommodate a 1.75 inch wide leather belt.
