Whitehead & Hoag - 1908 White Metal Ink Well - National Bank of Commerce KCMO For Sale

This piece was made in June 1908 in dedication to the grand opening of the National Bank of Commerce building at 10th & Walnut in downtown Kansas City. The building was designed by Jarvis Hunt and constructed between 1907 and 1908, and was the tallest in Kansas City when it was completed in 1908.Original, but torn, paper base label: \"Manufactured by The Whitehead & Hoag Co., Newark, N.J.\"There does not appear to be a class insert inside. The pin and door work without squeaking and everything is original, as far as I can tell.
