Based on the anchor mark and date it was produced between 1948 and 1955, crafted with artisan methods and licensed by Colonial Williamsburg. Its early maker’s mark and solid condition place it among a desirable collection item. As noted, it is part of the Colonial Williamsburg Restoration Collection, a line of reproductions created to preserve and celebrate early American design. The craftsmanship reflects the same attention to proportion and detail found in 18th‑century Williamsburg furniture, making them prized by collectors of Dark Academia, Victorian, or antique vanity décor aesthetics. It is atwo‑tier mahogany brass jewelry box with brass handle and accent with velvet removable inserts as well as removable wood dividers. Considering its age the jewelry box has been well maintained with minimal blemishes which are shown in the listing photos provided. The jewelry box does not include the original key.
