With Anzacs in Vietnam 6 RAR Second Tour 1969-70
With Anzacs in Vietnam A photographic record of 6 RAR (ANZAC) Battalion 1969-70 by Rob Laurent
The author of this book, Rob Laurent is a veteran member of the 6 RAR Battalion second tour Vietnam 1969-70. Rob served as a medic with A Company.
The Australian Army's 6th Battalion was the unit that fought with such distinction at the Battle of Long Tan in 1966. When the 6th Battalion returned to Vietnam for its second tour of duty in 1969 it was supplemented with two companies of New Zealand infantry, forming the ANZAC unit 6RAR/NZ. The book features hundreds of colour and black-and-white photographs taken during the war by sixteen different Australian and New Zealand members of 6RAR/NZ.
