I bought this several years ago (I can't really remember when but over twenty but maybe thirty years ago) I bought it with the intent of using it on my basement stairs for carrying stuff up and down. But I never used it. I changed my basement into a storage room and put this away for safe keeping and finally have decided that someone else needs it more than I do!! I cannot remember the manufacturer but at the time I was a huge fan of the Seventh Avenue catalog (are they still around? I haven't gotten one in ages) so I may very well (and most likely) had bought it from them because they carried a lot of really cool stuff like this and I have several other things still in my house I bought from them. Plus, they had quality merchandise, and this is definitely well made.
FYI. In looking at the shipping costs (you pay) FedEx is by far the cheapest. Personally, I am surprised by the costs listed by the other two options. I guess it is more the size than the weight of the box. I am selling smaller heavier things, and they are/were cheaper to ship. And FedEx comes with insurance. So just a heads up.
