Wyland Kissing Dolphins Ceramic ARTile 1990 Signed Wall Tile 8” A.R.T.CO USA For Sale

This is a vintage 1990 Wyland “Kissing Dolphins” decorative ceramic ARTile, produced by A.R.T. Co. of Albuquerque, New Mexico and made in the USA. The artwork captures one of Wyland’s signature marine scenes, with two dolphins gliding through a coral reef beneath a glowing orange sunset, surrounded by tropical butterflyfish and a sea cliff with a breaking wave. The image is signed and dated “Wyland 1990” within the artwork and carries a deep black border set against a glossy cream-yellow glazed tile.

The tile measures approximately 8 by 8 inches and is identified on the reverse as WYTIL 1503. It comes ready to display, with a wire hanger fixed to the back, and the original A.R.T. Co. care label remains intact. As noted on that label, the surface is not kiln fired, so it should be kept out of direct sunlight and away from heat, and cleaned only gently with glass cleaner. It can be used as a wall hanging, displayed on an easel, or framed.
