My Megalodon restorations are intentionally done as artistic reconstructions rather than invisible repairs. Each restoration is hand-sculpted and hand-painted, allowing the missing areas of the fossil to be thoughtfully rebuilt so the viewer can better visualize what the tooth would have looked like when complete. I do not attempt to make restorations perfectly indistinguishable from the original fossil. Instead, they are created with a clear human artistic element, balancing fossil preservation with craftsmanship. This approach keeps the integrity of the specimen intact while transforming incomplete fossils into displayable pieces that tell the story of the tooth’s original form.
