A beautiful example of turn-of-the-century German porcelain artistry, this antique RW Rudolstadt vase dates to approximately 1898–1905 and showcases the elegant floral aesthetic of the Art Nouveau era. Standing 11 inches tall, it features a graceful bulbous form, richly detailed hand-painted chrysanthemums in vibrant colors, elaborate openwork gilt handles, and finely molded relief decoration around the neck.

Produced in Rudolstadt, Germany, one of Europe's premier porcelain-making centers, this vase was individually hand decorated, making each example unique. The underside bears the classic blue RW Rudolstadt Germany factory mark along with impressed numbers 82 and 6907, and is decorator signed "56" in brown.
