This is one of the most elegant butterdishes I have ever had. Marked with the H in a diamond, it was produced by the Heisey Co. in 1902-1912 according to a book by Bredehoft. Pictured on page 71 in that book and the pattern is called Pince of Wales. The base is 8 in. diam. and stands approx. 5 in. tall. No chips, nicks, cracks. I find only one very faint scratch that does not detract in any way as you must look closely to find it. If you collect Heisey, don't let this one get away.
